Sydney Stelter is the Communications Specialist for the Southern Scholarship Foundation. Creativity and strategy drive her management of the website, social media, marketing, and other forms of communication. Sydney joined the SSF team two weeks before she graduated from Florida State University. Upon graduation, Sydney received a Bachelor of Arts in English. Sydney is proud to further her communications career at the Southern Scholarship Foundation.
During her undergraduate career, Sydney became an alumnae of Alpha Phi, perused her graduate certificate in publishing and editing, and played a pivotal role at The Children’s Campaign, another nonprofit in Tallahassee. Always a leader, Sydney not only took on leadership roles at her part-time job at Starbucks and in her sorority, she also had the distinct honor of instructing a freshman interest colloquium at Florida State University as a FIG Leader. She admits that this was definitely her most valuable experience at college because she enjoys giving back to her community.
Sydney has lived a lot of places including the Tampa, Philadelphia, and Boston areas, but she is proud to call Tallahassee her home. In her spare time, Sydney enjoys reading for fun, writing creatively, exploring the outdoors, and being active with fitness. She loves to run philanthropic 5k’s and hopes to in the future run longer distances in the future. Follow her on Twitter @Sydney_SSF!
