Dr. Dennis (Olakunle) Adeegbe joined SSF in 2000 when he moved into the Knight Scholarship House. He quickly drew the curiosity of housemates and neighbors because of his British accent; but that curiosity quickly turned into friendships! After graduating from FAMU with a degree in Biology, Dennis graduated from the University of Miami with a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. Today, Dr. Adeegbe is a biomedical scientist at the Moffitt Cancer Center! For Dr. Adeegbe, SSF was the sole reason he was able to afford accommodation costs while attending college which ultimately allowed him to complete his studies!
