House Bio: The E.C. Allen Scholarship House was dedicated on April 29, 1983 and opened for Fall. The first group of residents moved in from the old Lions House on W. College Ave. At the time it was the 17th foundation house. A generous donation by E.C. Allen, a local Tallahassee businessman and philanthropist, paid for the entire construction.
